Apply for a capital grant to develop buildings and land

If you’re grant-dependent, imagine what’s possible!

You may be a public, private, voluntary or community sector organisation, and you will have a strong vision for further growth. You will be committed to social ownership and social enterprise. Now you can develop your plans by purchasing assets for community use.

Your business plan must be sustainable and financially viable. It could demonstrate good practice, perhaps with a new method for tackling a problem, or you may have a plan to extend the benefits of your operation to empower a wider number of people. You could be looking to set up incubators and workspace for all types of social enterprise.

By developing buildings and land assets for community use you can make an even stronger social and economic impact.

Take your plans forward with new community-owned assets

If you have a solid business plan, and can demonstrate how you will put your objectives into practice, why not apply for a capital grant for buildings and land?

It’s a straightforward process. As well as providing us with information on your organisation, its current financial status and its current funders, you will also need to set out details of the number of people who will benefit and what your plans will achieve for them. You will also have the opportunity to highlight other aspects of your proposals, including details of any professional advisers, the amount of grant you need plus a detailed breakdown of how it will be spent.

Applications will be appraised by the Fund managers, and will involve one or more site visits before being recommended to the East of England Development Agency (EEDA).
